Adam joined Mardi Brass in 2001. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music from 1993-97 and during this time developed a keen interest in chamber music of all types from 17th century trio sonatas to contemporary works for electronics and brass ensemble and modern jazz styles.
Adam has become a busy freelance player working with orchestras around the UK such as the Bournmouth Sinfonietta and New London Sinfonia as well as being in demand with many chamber music ensembles for concerts and recordings. Adam is principal trombone for Sir John Eliot Gardiner's orchestras and a member of His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts.
Through his specialisation in early music, Adam has built a busy playing career with groups across Europe, as well as teaching on courses in Germany, Belgium and Israel.
Adam loves to spend his free time arranging music and doing graphic design for Mardi Brass. When he is not doing that he is an enthusiastic chef and enjoys good food, great coffee and real ale.
